Master Sports Director of Soccer Clubs (Catholic University of Ávila)

The "Master Sports Director of Soccer Clubs (Catholic University of Avila)" will teach us from the base how to create a club, direct and manage a team and its players to the technical staff.

The figure of the sports director in the world of football has gained much importance and strength in recent years, given the requirement on the part of the clubs. Everything will pass through our hands and with it the responsibility that entails.

We will deepen the leadership of the sports entity , the use we must give it and how to manage the whole process so that nothing escapes our control.

We will do all this thanks to the team of the coordination area and technical staff that we will be in charge of and the organization of the whole season.

The figure of the Technical Director is also the image of the sports institution , so we will always have to take into account all the actions that we do both economically and administratively.

Curriculum : (Structure by ECTS and Modules; Methodology) The program is divided into 12 training units that have an average duration of 5 ECTS credits, including the activities of that unit, the teaching methodology, is given by the agendas own of the course, accompanied by demonstrative videos by the professors and experts, as well as with complements of visual presentations, articles of interest and interviews with experts, all this material gives the student optimal possibilities to achieve a deep and attractive learning that together with The continuous evaluation of activities by the teachers and the continuous monitoring tutorials make the methodology attractive and, above all, efficient for our students.

The Master will consist of a final project of 5 ECTS credits based on real and practical cases that will further complement your training

MODULE 1: DIAGNOSIS IDENTITY SPORTS ENTITY. (5 ECTS credits)

Basic previous concepts: Diagnosis for a club identity.

MODULE 2: SPORTS ADDRESS IN BASE FOOTBALL. (5 ECTS credits)

The base football coordinator.

MODULE III CLUB PHILOSOPHY AND OPERATING METHODOLOGY. (15 ECTS credits)

Theme 3:

Steps to design a task or SSP.

Methodology for a good functioning of the base.

Description of the Cognitive Stages of the Player.

Induced discovery activities (Case Study) Activities in which the student will be able to carry out contextualized learning by working, in the Virtual Classroom and in a collaborative way, a real or simulated situation that will allow him to make a first approach to the different subjects of study.
Interaction and collaboration activities (Forums-Debates supporting the case and the lesson) Activities that will discuss and argue about different topics related to the subjects of each subject and that will serve to guide the process of discovery inducid
Practical application activities (online group) It includes problem solving, project development and similar activities that allow applying the conceptual, procedural and attitudinal aspects worked in other parts of the subjects.
Presentations of work and exercises It includes the joint elaboration in the Virtual Classroom and, where appropriate, the virtual defense of the requested works and exercises according to the defense procedures established in the teaching guides.
Seminars It includes face-to-face or virtual assistance to small group sessions, dedicated to specific topics of each subject.

Tutorials They allow direct interaction between teacher and student for the resolution of doubts and individualized advice on different aspects of the subjects
Presentations of work and exercises It includes the individual elaboration, presentation and, where appropriate, virtual defense of the requested works and exercises, in accordance with the defense procedures established in the teaching guides.

Directed work: Autonomous work of the student
Individual autonomous work activities (Study of the Lesson) Individual work of the materials used in the subjects, although supported by the resolution of doubts and knowledge construction through a forum enabled for these purposes. This activity will be the basis for the development of debates, problem solving, etc.
Practical application activities (individual) It includes the individual work in the resolution of problems, elaboration of projects and similar activities that allow to apply the conceptual, procedural and attitudinal aspects worked in other parts of the subject.
Critical reading, analysis and research These are activities in which the student approaches the different fields of study with a critical view that allows an approach to research. For example, book reviews or criticism of articles and research projects are included.

The student chooses the following evaluation system, according to his personal situation and training needs:

Continuous evaluation + "final evaluation"

60% of the final grade is obtained through the activities that are raised during the course and that will be valued in “continuous evaluation”; The completion by the student of these activities will be subject to a verification check by the teachers.

The remaining 40% of the final grade will be obtained from the final Master Project that will be done at the end of the course.

This master's degree is issued by the AVILA CATHOLIC UNIVERSITY and has 60 ECTS Credits ( 1200 teaching hours).
